How much are tickets?

Tickets typically go on sale at growwildiowa.com/tickets in May, or you can purchase tickets the day of the event for an increased price.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:
Polk County Conservation (PCC) reserves the right to cancel an event due to inclement weather or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If PCC cancels an event, participants will be offered a full refund. You will be notified that the event is canceled via e-mail. Your refund will be automatically credited to the same card used for purchase. Refunds should be received within 7-10 business days after the event has been canceled.

Refunds will not be available for participants who choose not to attend the event.

Where is Grow Wild for 2023?
 

Grow Wild is held at the Jester Park Nature Center on Saturday, August 28, 2021.
12130 NW 128th St Granger, Iowa 50109.

Please follow the signs, as the main entrance to Jester Park will be closed. Event parking will be on the north end of the driving range. Shuttles will be provided to and from the event area. Overflow parking will be clearly marked.

 

GENERAL INFORMATION

What is the event schedule?

This year, we welcoming local Iowa bands and singer-songwriters to the stage for an evening full of fun for the entire family to enjoy. Artists line up & schedule:

  • Andrew Hoyt @ 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

  • Kelsie James @ 12:30 - 2:00 p.m.

  • Day’s Live Music @ 2:30 - 4:00 p.m.

Where do I park?

 

There will be plenty of parking at the Grow Wild event site. Follow the signs, as parking will be on the north end of the driving range. ALL PARKING IS FREE. Shuttles to and from event parking is provided.

Handicap parking will be closer to the event site. Parking staff will direct drivers to the correct parking location.

 

Do I need to bring cash?

All vendors are able to take both cash and debit/credit cards. There will be no ATM within the event area. You will only need money at the event to purchase band merchandise, food, and/or drinks (s'mores and activities are free with admission.)

 

Can I bring a chair?

Camp chairs and blankets are encouraged at Grow Wild for viewing of the band and bonfire.

 

Can I bring water?

Please only bring empty water bottles into Grow Wild, as there will be water fountains that will allow you to fill up. Any water bottles that are full can either be emptied before entry or left in your car or campsite.

 
 

What happens if it rains?

 

We hope the weather will remain favorable for event goers, but Grow Wild will go on rain or shine. Refunds will not be available for participants who choose not to attend the event.

Strollers are welcome within Grow Wild. Remember, children 2 & under are free.

 

Can I leave and come back? 

You will be given a hand stamp that will allow you to leave and come back to Grow Wild throughout the afternoon if needed.

What is/isn’t allowed in the event site?

Each person and their belongings are subject to search upon entry. Please view the list below to see what you can and cannot bring into the event site:

These items ARE allowed into Grow Wild:
•  YES Backpacks (may be subject to search)
• YES Point and Click Film and Digital Cameras
•  YES Water Bottles (empty)
•  YES Sunblock
•  YES Bug Spray
•  YES Blankets and Camp Chairs

These items ARE NOT allowed into Grow Wild:
•  NO Drugs
•  NO Knives or Weapons of Any Kind
•  NO Pets (Service Animals are Welcome)
•  NO Fireworks
•  NO Coolers
•  NO Outside Food or Beverage (except empty water bottles)


CAMPING FAQ

REMINDER: This year there will not be designated Grow Wild camping, please reserve a spot at Jester Park to camp the weekend of Grow Wild.

Will there be restrooms?

All campsites have dedicated restrooms and shower houses.

Can I bring alcohol?

Alcohol is allowed at the camping area (no hard liquors). However, no outside food or drink is allowed into the Grow Wild event site. All park rules apply. 

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Feel free to bring your own food and drink into the camp area. However, no outside food or drink is allowed into the Grow Wild event site.

Are kids allowed?

Yes! Our campsites are family-friendly so please feel free to bring your little-ones.

How can we get to Grow Wild from the Campsite?

Shuttles will be going back and forth from the campsites to the Grow Wild event every hour at the main entrance to the campsites. If you would prefer to drive, you are welcome to park in the designated parking lot at the Jester Park Nature Center for free.

Our priority is to provide a safe, responsible experience for everyone involved at Grow Wild.

COVID-19


We continue to use recommendations from the CDC and the Polk County Health Department to guide our safety measures. This includes placing sanitation stations throughout the event area, and providing hands-free ticket purchasing to reduce touch points and lines. Thus, we strongly recommend unvaccinated attendees wear a mask at all times. If anyone (vaccinated or unvaccinated) has been experiencing COVID symptoms, we ask that they stay home.

Grow Wild 2023 is only possible with all attendees committing to safety. Please be prepared to be mindful and respectful of those around you.
